Sophie is a Senior double-majoring in Political Science (Pre-law) and Philosophy. In addition to working as Director of SLS, she is the President of the WSU Political Science Club, a member of both the ethics bowl and mock trial teams, District Treasurer for the Pacific Northwest Division of Circle K International, and Editor-in-Chief for the Pullman Whig. Academic honors include being the 2022 Jennifer Dunn-Thomson Scholarship Winner, a recipient of the Frank Fraser and Irene Potter Memorial Scholarship as well as the Harry and Lorinda Silverstein Scholarship, a 2023 President’s Award for Leadership winner, and an inducted member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honors Society. After graduating from WSU, Sophie aspires to attend law school and then practice law in various areas such as intellectual property, data privacy, and technology law. Sophie has been a part of WSU SLS since the Fall of 2022 serving as the Associate Director.
